Thank you for your interest in the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at AdventHealth. As part of one of the most widely respected orthopedic programs in the country, Rothman Orthopaedics in partnership with AdventHealth prides ourselves on not only providing the highest quality sub-specialty value-based care to our patients, but we also strive to be one of the premier academic orthopedic training programs in the country. With that in mind, we are excited to offer our orthopedic residency applicants one of the most comprehensive orthopedic residency training programs in one of the best locations to live in the country. Our program will be defined by a mentorship-based model where orthopedic residents focus on learning from our sub-specialty experts through a curriculum that focuses our mission of whole person care set within an orthopedic ecosystem that emphasizes culture, excellence, and collegiality amongst our faculty, trainees, staff, and hospital system.

Curriculum
Our educational curriculum is defined by providing sub-specialty education led by each division having its own education director. Our rotations will maximize educational value through a graduated clinical and operative schedule surrounded by an orthopedic education ecosystem focused on providing support to maximize the educational experience, including sub-specialty didactic and Bio Skills curricula, surgical simulation training, clinical and non-clinical research platforms, and innovation programs.

We proudly received our ACGME accreditation in April 2022 and our first class of residents is anticipated to start in the 2023 appointment year. We will be accepting applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and and will participate in the NRMP Match Process.
The deadline for our receipt of your completed application material is October 15.
