Anwar Ahmed, MD

Dr. Anwar Ahmed is a distinguished neurologist specializing in movement disorders. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Ahmed pursued his medical education at Dow Medical College, University of Karachi, earning his M.B.B.S. degree. He furthered his training with a residency in neurology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed fellowships at Columbia University-Presbyterian Medical Center and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Currently, Dr. Ahmed serves as the Chief of Neurology at AdventHealth Neuroscience Institute in Orlando, where he also directs the Huntington Disease Center of Excellence. With a career span of over two decades, Dr. Ahmed has held numerous prestigious positions, including Director of the Movement Disorder Fellowship Program at Cleveland Clinic and Section Head of the Movement Disorder Program.
Dr. Ahmed's research contributions are extensive, with numerous publications and involvement in groundbreaking clinical trials. His work has significantly advanced the understanding and treatment of movement disorders, making him a leading figure in the field.
Rana Abusoufeh, MD

Rana Abusoufeh, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who served most recently as the Vice chair for outpatient neurology and an assistant professor of neurology at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She earned her MBBS from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. Dr. Abusoufeh completed her residency in Neurology at University Hospital Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, where she also completed an Epilepsy Research Fellowship. Additionally, she completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at LSU in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Abusoufeh is a recipient of Exceptional Women in Medicine, and Top Doctors award numerous times over the years. She continues to be dedicated to whole person care, considering body, mind and spirit.
