AdventHealth is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our Emergency Department (ED), which has been ranked No. 1 across the entire AdventHealth system for overall improvement and the arrival domain during the performance period of June through August 2025.
This recognition reflects the ED team's unwavering commitment to delivering timely, compassionate, and high-quality care. The arrival domain measures key aspects of the patient journey, including door-to-provider times, triage efficiency and initial patient experience -- all foundational to building trust and ensuring safety.
A Culture of Excellence and Healing
“Our Emergency Department team continues to raise the bar,” said Kyle Smith, Director of Clinical Services. “This ranking is a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of excellence in patient care.”
The recognition comes as part of AdventHealth’s enterprise-wide performance review, which tracks key metrics across all facilities. The ED team’s top ranking in improvement highlights their success in implementing data-driven strategies, streamlining workflows, and enhancing the arrival experience for patients and families.
Impact on Our Community
As a cornerstone of our facility, the ED plays a vital role in serving the Manchester community. This achievement not only reflects operational excellence but also reinforces our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ. Every improvement made in the ED directly contributes to a more responsive, respectful, and healing-centered environment for our patients.
