Internal Medicine Residency

The AdventHealth Tampa Internal Medicine Residency is a 39-resident program (13-13-13). The goal of AdventHealth Tampa’s Internal Medicine Residency program is to train well-rounded, hospital-oriented physicians whose training will prepare them to enter independent practice or a sub-specialty training program of their choice.

Our four-year Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program supports statewide efforts to improve the quality of women’s care in Florida through increased access and a culture of continuous quality improvement. Training Tampa’s Next Generation of Doctors

AdventHealth is on the front lines in the push to address a growing physician shortage, both in the Tampa Bay area and at more rural hospitals.

The graduate medical education residency program at AdventHealth Tampa was highlighted by local media as a way to combat the deficit of doctors and other health care workers in Florida.

Our residency program gives recent medical school graduates the opportunity to continue their education at our world-class facilities and the chance to experience everything the area has to offer.

Our Resident Team Application Process

Applicants interested in any of our residency programs must submit an application online via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical Colleges. Our programs participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
