When Our Communities Prosper

Everyone Prospers

Everyone in our Tampa Bay community and beyond was born to enjoy a life that is active, vibrant, and filled with joy. That’s why our mission extends beyond our hospital walls. We live out our faith intentionally to extend the healing ministry of Christ through community outreach, helping all our neighbors enjoy better health, more joy, and a stronger sense of purpose. Just as a good shepherd tends to all in the flock, through education and outreach, we help our neighbors, and all of the people in our care, feel better and feel whole.

Our mission is founded in faith, but it’s inspired by you. Your generosity enables us to help more people, improving community health and wellness. Every dollar. Every donated hour. Your support helps more people receive the most cutting-edge — and compassionate — care.

Our Principles in Action

CREATION Life in the Community

Whole health means healing the whole body and the whole community. By embracing the eight universal aspects of CREATION Life — Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust, Interpersonal Relationships, Outlook, and Nutrition — our community outreach helps more of our neighbors reach their God-given potential. You have a Choice in how you take your health — and your life — back into your own hands. You can Trust that we will help the underserved get the continuous, comprehensive care they deserve. Let AdventHealth Tampa, formerly Florida Hospital Tampa, help improve Outlooks by embracing a health-care philosophy that doesn’t just fix what’s wrong, but celebrates all that’s right.

We celebrate diversity and welcome all of our neighbors, regardless of their background, race, religion, or culture, helping more people in Tampa Bay create a life of better health, more joy, and less stress.
