Breastfeeding Class (Virtual)

Looking for clear, practical education to help you prepare to breastfeed with confidence? This class will cover:

• Preparing now for successful breastfeeding
• How milk production works
• Positions for comfortable latching and feeding
• Normal newborn feeding patterns, hunger cues
• How to recognize effective breastfeeding
• Common concerns such as sore nipples, engorgement, and returning to work

This class is ideal for expectant parents and anyway seeking a reliable foundation in breastfeeding. Partners / support persons are encouraged to attend and only one person needs to register. Instruction is led by a registered nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Time is built in for questions and discussion.
