AdventHealth Hendersonville Welcomes New Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer

AdventHealth Hendersonville is excited to announce it has named Ella Stenstrom, MBA, CPA as its new Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Stenstrom has more than eight years of comprehensive experience in leading health care finance organizations and has been providing this exceptional leadership as the Administrative Director of Finance for AdventHealth Hendersonville (formerly Park Ridge Health), since 2015.

Stenstrom earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and her Master of Business in Administration from St. Cloud State University. Previously, she has held the position of Director of Finance for FirstLight Health System Mora and Senior Financial and Information Technology Auditor for Allina Health in Minnesota.

The culture of authentic compassionate care centered around the healing ministry of Christ is what drew Stenstrom to AdventHealth Hendersonville. “The chance to be a part of a faith-based organization that stays true to its mission and values means a lot to me,” says Stenstrom. “From the moment you enter the front door to be greeted by an ambassador, to when you are transitioned home with the help of one of our nurse navigators, our promise to provide whole-person care – mind, body and spirit is clear. I am excited to lead our team to achieve goals that will change the way health care is delivered by keeping it simple and lowering the cost.”

“Ella has a passion for compassionate care and has been committed to developing relationships and processes that best serve our patients from the time she started as part of our Finance team in 2015,” says Jimm Bunch, AdventHealth Hendersonville CEO and President. “I am delighted to have her as our new Chief Financial Officer and look forward to having her expertise as AdventHealth Hendersonville continues to provide exceptional, whole-person care to our communities.”

In her free time, Stenstrom enjoys hiking, exploring and just recently started running 5K’s. When asked what makes her “Feel Whole” she responded, “Working for a company that is close to their mission makes me feel whole. I truly enjoy getting to help our patients and their families. That connection to the stories and challenges of our patients and the people across our communities helps me be a better leader and help AdventHealth Hendersonville achieve its promise to help everyone in our care feel whole.”
