- Pastoral Care
-
Our dedication to providing compassionate, Christ-centered care continues beyond the birthing center, the exam rooms, and ER. We believe that true health comes from caring for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. Our hospitals were built upon this foundation and it still guides the care we provide every day.
Throughout your course of care, if you wish to talk with someone who can provide spiritual support and guidance, our pastoral-care team is here to listen, counsel, and comfort. Regardless of your faith tradition, our team of qualified, spiritual guides will help you stay positive and channel hope and faith. Each of our chaplains focuses on the spiritual healing and restoration of those in our care, including their friends and families.
If you wish to speak with your own pastor, priest, or other personal spiritual mentor, we will be happy to contact them for you. To help ease the transition for those admitted to our facility, all new guests are visited by one of our pastoral-care team members within 24-hours of admission.
Our pastoral-care services include:
- Anointing
- Arrangement of baptisms and communion
- Crisis support for guests, families, and AdventHealth Hendersonville team members
- Devotionals
- Grief counseling
- Guest visitation
- Meditation groups
- Spiritual support
Community-based pastoral-care services:
- Funeral services
- Grief counseling
- Home visitation to former guests under the care of home-health services
- Premarital counseling
To arrange any of the above services, or to speak directly with a pastoral-care team member, please call Call828-681-2159.
