Updated Hospital Visitor Restrictions and Visiting Hours
AdventHealth Hendersonville has adjusted visitor restrictions in several departments at its hospital campus. It is vital we take measures to minimize the risk of infection for patients and protect our providers and team members who are on the front lines. Our measures are for the protection of everyone, including visitors.
Updated Visitor Restrictions – July 26, 2021
- Recommended no visitors under the age of 18.
- No visitors for COVID-19 positive patients or Patients Under Investigation (PUI) for COVID-19.
- No visitors for Laboratory and Imaging patients, unless needed for safety of patient.
- Adult Emergency Room Patients may have one adult visitor at a time.
- Pediatric patients receiving care at any of our facilities may be accompanied by two adults.
- Medical/Surgical Unit and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) admitted patients will be allowed one adult visitor at a time.
- Behavioral Health Unit patients may have visitors per unit-specified guidelines.
- Hospital Daily Visiting Hours: 8:30 am to 7 pm
- Adult Surgery Patients may have one adult visitor with them for their pre-op time, including registration. These visitors may remain in the waiting area during the procedure. They must complete screening and follow all COVID-19 safety protocols while in the hospital, including wearing a mask and maintaining safe distancing in our waiting areas.
- End-of-life patients, regardless of COVID-19 status, may have two visitors at a time, with a maximum of six visitors per day.
The Baby Place Visitor Policy
Patients may have two support people at a time, plus a doula. One allowed to stay overnight
During Labor: Support persons may be present at any time
Post-Partum: 8:30 am to 7 pm
In all circumstances, visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal medical care.
