Traffic Information

Naples Road at I-26 Bridge

Starting Monday, December 14, NCDOT will reduce Naples Road to one lane near the bridge over I-26.  If you continue to use Naples Road to drive to our hospital and physician offices on Hospital or Doctors Drive, please expect delays and give yourself extra time for travel. We recommend using an alternate route that will bring you to Naples Road from Howard Gap Road.

  • This traffic pattern change will allow crews to install a new water line and retention wall.
  • The road will have a temporary signal to control traffic during this time. NCDOT expects this traffic pattern change to be in place for up to two months.
  • There will be a brief return to two-way traffic from December 23 to January 4.
