AdventHealth Hendersonville Welcomes New Physician Assistant

January 24, 2019 — AdventHealth Medical Group Ear, Nose and Throat at Hendersonville is excited to welcome Marlee Colligan, PA-C to their team of compassionate care providers. Colligan is NCCPA board certified and has more than five years of direct patient care experience.

Colligan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Skidmore College in 2009 and went on to obtain her Master of Science in 2012 from Pace University. In addition to this, Colligan is an American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) member and is Pediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certified.

Colligan previously worked as a Primary Care Physician Assistant at AdventHealth Medical Group, formerly Park Ridge Health, from 2014 to 2016 and is excited to be caring for people here in the mountains of Western North Carolina once again. “I had previously worked with what is now AdventHealth Hendersonville and know the culture of inclusion and respect they provide for all employees and patients. This organization also gives all providers the means to succeed. They give advanced practice providers a voice in decision making and this makes them feel like an equal provider in the patient’s care team,” says Colligan. “I look forward to focusing on education and preventative care for my patients. It is important to me to educate my patients regarding disease processes and make sure they leave the office comfortable with our discussion and with an understanding of their diagnosis and treatment options.”
