Dec. 10, 2020; HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – AdventHealth Hendersonville is thrilled to welcome Chris Taulbee to the role of Director of Physician Services. In this role, Taulbee will oversee team members, providers, and protocols at several AdventHealth Medical Group locations across Western North Carolina, including Primary and Specialty Care practices in Asheville, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, and Tryon.
Although new to the role, Taulbee is not new to the organization. He has served with AdventHealth Hendersonville for nearly 10 years, starting as a radiologic technologist in 2011 and taking on the role of Diagnostic Imaging Manager in 2017. In his most recent position, Taulbee was responsible for daily operations at AdventHealth Hendersonville Imaging in both the hospital and outpatient clinics.
“I love the people who work here and the patients we serve, and that AdventHealth is an organization that supports prayer and has a mission statement to extend the healing ministry of Christ,” Taulbee says.
Taulbee started his career with the United States Air Force in 2002 and served for six years, a time during which he was awarded Airman of the Quarter, the Achievement Medal and the Commendation Medal for his work. Following his honorable discharge, Taulbee earned his associate degree at Asheville-Buncombe Community College and bachelor’s degree at East Tennessee State University.
Taulbee says he is looking forward to continuing to meet and serve team members throughout AdventHealth in his new role and carries with him the values he learned in the Air Force.
“Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all I do: Those values are ingrained in every airman, and I believe that is one reason for their continued success,” Taulbee says. “I would like to believe that I carry those same values with me to this day, and people respond positively because of it.”
In his free time, Taulbee enjoys spending time with his wife of 16 years and three daughters, who are all avid softball players.
