Caring for You

As You Care for Your Loved One

Your visits mean everything. Just by being here, you show how much you love and value your loved one. You bring hope: lifting their minds and spirits, empowering and energizing them as they rest and heal.

And you’re welcome at AdventHealth Carrollwood, formerly Florida Hospital Carrollwood. To make your visits as stress-free and meaningful as possible, we offer visitor resources and hospital amenities, like our peaceful onsite chapel, extended visiting hours and convenient cafeteria. If there’s anything else we can do to make your visit easier, please let us know. While you’re here for your loved one, we’re here for you.

Non-Denominational Chapel

As a faith-based health care provider, we understand the role a soothing, peaceful chapel can play in the healing process. Sometimes you need a few minutes to recharge spiritually so you can keep giving hope to your loved one. Our onsite chapel is open 24/7 to patients and visitors of all denominations. Come enjoy some restorative time in a quiet place.

A kind, listening ear and a few words of spiritual comfort can also make all the difference. Whatever your beliefs or religious tradition, you’re welcome to speak with our hospital chaplain, James McNeil. If you’d like, the chaplain can also contact your own priest, minister, rabbi, or other spiritual leader. Ask your nurse to contact the chaplain, or call 813-615-7200, ext 84702.

That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.
