Childbirth Preparation Class (Virtual)
About this Event
You are warmly invited to join our Virtual Childbirth Preparation Class.
This two-part interactive series will take place:
- Part 1: 01/06/2026
- Part 2: 01/13/2026
- 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM ET (each evening)
This class is designed to help expecting parents and one support person feel more confident, empowered, and informed as you prepare for labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. We will look at pre-labor signs, onset of labor, stages of labor, comfort techniques, labor support techniques, pain management, interventions, cesarean birth, postpartum education, and newborn information.
- It is recommended to take this class 4-6 before your due date.
- Only one person needs to register to attend this class.
- One adult support person is encouraged and welcome to attend this class with you.
Food & Drinks
If you are attending this event or class in-person please feel free to bring your favorite snack, drinks, or light meal to enjoy during class! We want you to be comfortable and relaxed while you learn. Vending machines with snacks and beverages are also available on-site for your convenience.
Parking Update – AdventHealth Tampa Women’s Health Pavilion
As part of ongoing construction at AdventHealth Tampa, the parking lot across from the Women’s Health Pavilion is currently closed. Parents and visitors may be dropped off and picked up at the front entrance of the Women’s Health Pavilion. Parking is now available on the nearby on-campus parking deck, just a short walk away. If you are planning a visit to the Women’s Center, please allow a few extra minutes for parking. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Complimentary valet parking at the Women's Health Pavilion is offered to patients and visitors Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (not available on Holidays).
