— Marlon Robinson, Chaplain of AdventHealth Manchester, expressed his gratitude as he welcomed the veterans in attendance and gave an opening prayer. James Couch, VP, gave a short devotion and introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Greg Wilkens, AdventHealth general surgeon and a veteran. Dr. Wilkens shared that we are all in a battle and discussed the importance of choosing to be in God's Army which side will you choose, referring to being in God’s Army.
To conclude the event, Jonathan Owens, Clinical Missions Integration Specialist (CMI), prayed a prayer of blessing and gratitude for all veterans, the families of those who have served, and those fallen. To all veterans, we sincerely thank you for your service.
