Pastoral Care and Onsite Chapel
Ready to offer words of counsel, a kind, listening ear, or a personalized prayer, our chaplain is on call 24/7. He can also connect you with a leader from your own religious community. You can reach our hospital chaplain, Mark Bondarenko, at Call606-598-1016.
When you need a quiet place to contemplate, visit our Saul and Lois Goins Chapel, located on the main floor beside the Gift Gallery. It’s the perfect spot to ponder, pray, and find peace.
Hospital Visiting Hours
Your loved ones strengthen you as you heal. We want them to feel welcome here. For that reason, we hold extensive visiting hours from 10 am to 8 pm in every area of the hospital except the ICU. In the ICU, we ask that only immediate family visit for only 30 minutes every two hours during normal visiting hours.
- Getting Here is Easy
You have a lot of things to think about. Finding a parking spot shouldn't be one of them. This is why we offer ample visitor parking at our Clay County hospital. It's free, so you can stay as long as you like without worrying about mounting fees.
- More Resources for Whole-Person Healing
Even after you leave our hospital, we keep caring. We provide the following patient resources to keep you on the path to health and happiness:
When you’re ready to go back home, our discharge planner will take a few minutes to meet with you. He or she will be able to answer your questions and help you plan for the future so you can keep living a healthy life. Your discharge planner can also give you access to community resources like where to buy crutches or an oxygen tank, rehabilitation facilities, and anything else you may need.
Concerned about how you’re going to pay your hospital bills? Don’t be. We offer assistance for patients who are not covered by any form of insurance or government program. You’ll just need to verify your income and financial information. Fill out our Financial Assistance Application or contact a hospital representative at:

- Know What to Bring to Your Visit
A visit to the hospital can be stressful. But we're here to make it easier. To make your experience as simple as possible, plan on bringing the following items with you to the hospital:
- A List of Medications
- Medical Information or Records
- Medical Insurance Card
- Photo ID
- Your Nightgown or Pajamas, Robe, Slippers, Toiletries, and Glasses
Because we can’t guarantee the safety of your personal items, we suggest leaving all valuables at home.
- Pastoral Care
A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Manchester knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.
Contact a Chaplain
Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.
Just Healing. Plain and Simple.
A hospital stay can bring many visits and services from multiple medical providers. We know it’s hard to plan ahead for an emergency hospital visit, but if you have a scheduled health care service that requires a hospital stay, we recommend contacting your anticipated health care practitioners within the hospital to confirm they participate with your insurance provider. You can also get information about billing practices and an estimate for your upcoming services ahead of time. This will help you avoid any unexpected challenges and fees.
