Helping Patients Make Informed Decisions

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), mandated hospital price transparency, whereby, hospitals are required to make available a list of their current standard charges via internet in a machine-readable format and update at least annually, or more often as appropriate. AdventHealth is committed to price transparency and the belief that consumers should know, long before they receive their medical bill, what a hospital will charge for items and services provided. As part of our effort to increase price transparency, you may review our standard charges below, which include the prices for a comprehensive list of services at AdventHealth.

The hospital’s charges are the same for all patients, but a patient’s responsibility may vary, depending on payment plans negotiated with individual health insurance companies and a patient’s out of pocket responsibility (i.e., deductible, co-insurance, copays, etc.). Uninsured or underinsured patients should consult with our patient financial advocates. Please bear in mind that few patients will pay the charge amount listed because of insurance coverage.

For these reasons, AdventHealth aspires to give consumers meaningful information as they seek to restore their health. We believe consumers should be equipped with personalized and accurate estimates. We are making it easier for patients to make informed decisions about their health care by offering them tailored estimates for hospital procedures before their care. The estimates are based on their insurance coverage and the typical care experience for patients receiving similar services from the same physician. These personalized estimates are accessible in the “My Billing” section of this website.
