AdventHealth Manchester received its first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines yesterday and will began inoculating frontline team members today.

“We were excited to receive the Moderna vaccine yesterday and will begin vaccinating our team members tomorrow,” said Chris Self, Chief Executive Officer at AdventHealth Manchester. “We are very hopeful that this will be the beginning of the end of our fight against this pandemic.”

With the recent Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) granted by the FDA for the Moderna vaccine, AdventHealth received its initial run of up to 400 inoculations.

AdventHealth team members who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, including nutritional services, environmental services, respiratory therapists, nurses, and physicians, will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
