Our outpatient infusion center is designed to make your time with us as comfortable and stress-free as possible, so you can get the vital medications you need to feel better and get back to your life.
Understand How Infusion Works
When medications are made or modified so they can be infused, your body actually uses more of the medicine. That's because it goes straight into your blood instead of being filtered through other parts of your body.
Infusion medications also allow your dose to be precisely controlled, which is important for medicines that need to be given slowly, but constantly.
An infusion can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. During the infusion, medication flows from a bag and into a tube connected to your veins with a small needle. Though most people don't get sick from infusion, our team will monitored your for side effects before you leave our center.

IV medication must be carefully prepared for each individual patient. That means we have pharmacists, nurses and other infusion specialists who can review your medications and discuss their potential side effects.
But because we know that caring for you means more than simply delivering your infusion with skill, we take a body, mind and spirit approach to your whole-health care. We work hard to create a relaxing environment that helps soothe your mind and reduce your stress. We know that stress can negatively affect your body's ability to heal.

To make your infusion therapy as stress-free as possible, we’ll handle pre-authorization for all of your medications, and arrange all of your appointments. We can also coordinate transportation, which is available Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Fridays from 8:30 am – 12 pm. Special arrangements can also be made for weekend and after-hours care when necessary.
