Sharon Bass

Your Robotic Clinical Coordinator, Sharon Bass, has been a valued member of the AdventHealth Gordon team since 1998 and has been an integral part of the robotics program since its inception in 2015. She develops, implements, and manages all aspects of the robotics program, clinical, and administrative processes alike.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in Tallahassee where she completed a master’s degree in Administration. With more than 28 years of experience as an operating room nurse, Sharon is an experienced health care advocate and is committed to providing you and your family with the support you need throughout your health care experience. Sharon resides in Calhoun with her husband, Eddie, and their two dogs.

A clinical coordinator is a specially-trained registered nurse whose job is to provide expert clinical assistance and educational, emotional and spiritual support. This complimentary service includes:

  • Connecting you and your family with resources and support services
  • Communicating with your doctors and serving as a constant link between you and the health care team
