Julia Danforth, MD, is hosting a Living Well class on Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Gordon Hospital Adairsville Family Medicine, located inside the Adairsville Health Park.
In this class, Dr. Danforth will explain why and how a whole-food plant-based diet is great for ones health, energy, and treating chronic diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, and more.
Dr. Danforth is a board-certified family physician at Gordon Hospital Adairsville Family Medicine. She believes that health is more than just the physical body, but mental and spiritual wellness as well. Dr. Danforth, a Georgia-native, earned her medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California followed by a residency in family practice at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
