Patty Brack was awarded Gordon Hospitals prestigious Extra Mile Award. Brack is an administrative assistant in clinical informatics.

This special award was created by members of the hospitals Employee Engagement Committee to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. It is awarded monthly to deserving employees selected by the hospitals directors.

Morgan, a case management nurse at Gordon Hospital, nominated Brack with the following words: Patty is always very pleasant, regardless if you are needing something or just in passing. This quality is highly valued, especially given that all new hires encounter her during orientation. She went above and beyond for me when I needed help finding the forms necessary to update my policies. She made it so easy. I appreciate her and feel she is a true asset to Gordon Hospital.

I am pleased and blessed to be recognized for this award, said Brack. I was without a job for a year and a half before coming to Gordon Hospital. I prayed for the Lord to send me somewhere that I could be happy at. I love Gordon Hospital and what it stands for. My co-workers and department are awesome to work with, and I am blessed to be here.

Outside of her profession, Brack enjoys to walking, going to the gym, and reading.
