AdventHealth Gordon recently hosted a vehicle dedication for a new ambulance that will contribute to a fleet of nine EMS vehicles.
Due to the significant value of ambulances and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) professionals, many AdventHealth Gordon team members and local first responders gathered to place a special blessing on the new vehicle, its fleet and its service to the surrounding community.
Mark Bramblett, EMS director, shared his gratitude for the support. “I was excited to see the number of people from the hospital but also from the first responders that are supporting us,” said Bramblett. “It really shows the kinship that we share in the community.”
AdventHealth Gordon has three EMS stations: two in Calhoun and one in Fairmount. Five ambulance units run around the clock to ensure the community has access to EMS personnel and transportation when necessary.
As the community’s local health care provider, AdventHealth Gordon remains dedicated to continually improving its EMS to meet the timely health care needs of Gordon County.
