David Collis, President

David Collis has spent more than 20 years working with non-profit organizations to help them advance their missions through effective fundraising. He began his professional career at Georgetown University Cuba project where he crafted grant proposals and reports. In 1997, David joined the development team at Rollins College during their $100 million fundraising campaign, which ended in 2001 with more than $160 million in overall commitments. In 2005, he began a career as an independent fundraising consultant and worked with clients such as Adventhealth, Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, The Amazon Conservation Team, The Adult Literacy League, and Habitat for Humanity Orlando.

David assumed a role with the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation, in 2009. The 10 Foundation Boards which he oversees recently completed a $150 million comprehensive campaign, surpassing the goal by raising over $154 million.

David graduated cum laude with an honors Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College and a master’s degree from Georgetown University.

Diana J. Boyce, Vice President

Throughout her 23 years with AdventHealth, Diana Boyce has successfully planned and executed numerous significant initiatives, helping provide world-class healthcare to the Central Florida Community. In her current role as Vice President at AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation, she oversees the major gifts, grants and patient liaison programs. She uses her accomplished negotiating and management skills to exercise her passion for creating exceptional customer service.

Prior to joining the team at AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation, she was instrumental in the development and successful launch of AdventHealth Celebration, formerly Florida Hospital Celebration Health (FHCH), a state-of-the-future health care facility that opened in 1998 in the Walt Disney Company's community of Celebration.  During her time at FHCH she raised more than $40 million to get this important initiative off the ground.  Under her leadership as project manager, she managed Celebration Health Consulting, oversaw the development of the Celebration Health Education and Conference Center; managed facility tours and seminar programs, and oversaw the Celebration Health Speakers Bureau, bringing the message of health and healing to a community in need.

Throughout her years of service at AdventHealth, Diana has also been responsible for formalizing corporate alliance partnerships with some of the world’s largest companies. These alliances include corporations such as, General Electric, GlaxoWellcome, Johnson & Johnson, Cisco Systems, Leica and Pfizer.

Having lost her husband of 34 years in 2008, Diana is blessed to be surrounded by a large family of seven children and thirteen grandchildren who bring her joy and fulfillment.

Robert Wahlers, Vice President

Robert Wahlers is the Vice President of Philanthropy where he is leading fundraising efforts for Cancer Care. Prior to this role, Robert was the Vice President of Development for Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations where he oversaw the gift planning, annual giving and grants development program for the eight hospitals in the Hackensack Meridian Health system. In his more than thirty-year career, he has also worked in the financial and estate planning field and in the nonprofit sector with the Boy Scouts of America, the American Cancer Society and Virtua Foundation. Robert is an award-winning author of three books, a national speaker and serves on the adjunct faculty at Columbia University in the Masters in Nonprofit Management program. He and his wife Denise just purchased a home in Winter Park where their son Brock is enrolled at Winter Park High School while their daughter Willow is starting her sophomore year as a student-athlete at The Ohio State University.

Tom Kapusta, Assistant Vice President

Tom Kapusta, a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving, helps to connect professional advisors and potential donors to the mission of AdventHealh, by offering a variety of charitable planned giving resources. Prior to his current responsibility at the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation, Tom directed the Planned Giving and Trust Services program for the Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, an eight-state area in the Southeastern United States. Tom has great experience in educating and training staff and donors about the intricacies of planned giving.

Over the past 15 years in Planned Giving, Tom has acquired a full range of understanding relative to a “one man” trust services program to a fully staffed planned giving and trust services full-service program. Tom’s ability to make friends with his donors and his technical skills in working with advanced planned giving techniques has provided the opportunity for substantial charitable gifts to AdventHealth and lifetime income to satisfied donors.

Tom was born in Slickville, PA and enjoys spending time with his family and wife Gail. His passions include spending time with his granddaughters, Zoie and Abbie, travel, wood working and water sports.

Roel Yambao, Chief Operating Officer

Since joining the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation, in 2006, Roel Yambao has been an integral part of the Foundation Marketing and Special Events team. His career with AdventHealth began at the East Orlando campus as a corporate development coordinator. His passion for AdventHealth's mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ ultimately led him to work at the Foundation.

Roel’s responsibilities include the establishment of fundraising campaigns and programs, recurring revenue streams, upholding the Foundation mission and brand, and producing AdventHealth’s largest fundraising event, Golden Gala. Roel brings organizational and process improvement talents to the team, in order to continually elevate the efficiencies of the foundation, while focusing on the donor experience.

Originally from South Florida, Roel moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida where he studied health sciences. He received a Master’s degree in Health Administration in 2004. Roel and his wife Sabrina are blessed with two beautiful daughters. They enjoy spending time at theme parks, being involved in local groups and activities, as well as visiting family in South Florida.

Rebecca Becker, Director of Donor Relations

Rebecca (Becky) Becker is AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida, formerly Florida Hospital Foundation's, Director of Donor Relations. Following a 16-year career teaching high school English and Business Education in Colorado and Idaho, Becky became the Director of Alumni & Development at Andrews Academy, a private high school in Michigan. When her husband's job brought them to Florida in 2005, Becky was excited to become part of an initiative to build a Donor Relations Department at AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida.

Becky graduated with an Honors B.A. in English from Andrews University and an M.A. in Education from Boise State University. Having achieved the designation of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Becky is active in both the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. 

Ayslinn Husebo, Director of Marketing and Special Events

Ayslinn Husebo joined AdventHealth in 2005 as a Marketing Manager for the Winter Park campus. Throughout her eight years in marketing, she managed comprehensive system and service line campaigns, multi-channel media buys and developed the Healthy 100 loyalty program through email, web, social, events, corporate relations and employee wellness initiatives.

Ayslinn is currently the Director of Marketing and Special Events and was brought on to the AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida team in 2013 to produce the largest fundraising event in Central Florida, Golden Gala. She and her team manage over 50 annual core and endorsed events along with a 60+ group of community champions that focus on Golden Gala Auction.

Ayslinn leads brand and annual fund campaigns for to support services such as cancer care, children’s care, cardiovascular care and hospice care.

A Florida native, Ayslinn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Business from Palm Beach Atlantic University and moved to Central Florida shortly after getting married. Her family of four enjoys the beach, college football, Disney and her daughter’s softball games. She loves her career and the people she works with and considers AdventHealth her second family.
