Give a Memory Bear this Holiday Season

AdventHealth Hospice Care, Memory Bear

Since 1990, AdventHealth Hospice Care Central Florida has provided compassionate care and support to over 28,000 patients in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties. One of the ways our team provides comfort and care to families is through our Memory Bear Program. Volunteers sew personalized teddy bears using clothing from a loved one who has passed. Every year, over 250 bears are created and delivered to grieving family members. With your support, even more members of our community can receive this special memory bear to remember their loved one.

For just $5 you can provide a memory bear to a family member of a hospice patient. Also, for a $20 donation, you can provide four families with the comforting gift of a memory bear. A $100 donation will provide 20 memory bears to families in your community.

Caregiver Janet Martinez was extremely grateful for her memory bear when her husband passed away.

“I am so very grateful to the memory bear team for the comfort and love they provide. The beautiful bears they crafted from my husband’s clothes provide such a precious, tangible memory for my grandchildren. We are so grateful for this awesome gift.”

Your generosity enables patients to live their lives to the fullest, surrounded by family, friends and our hospice care team. The holiday season is an especially difficult time to lose a family member or friend and memory bears are needed now more than ever. Thank you for your donation to provide a gift that families will cherish forever. Your heart-felt contribution will encourage those in the most difficult of times.
