Since 1968, National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually observed from September 15th through October 15th. It’s a time to reflect upon the vast histories, vibrant cultures and incredible contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.

This year’s theme centers on Latino prosperity, power and progress in America. We celebrate the remarkable medical contributions of our Hispanic health care professionals past, present and future, while we also take this time to encourage whole-person wellness and health equity for all our Latino communities as we propel our nation towards a brighter future — together.
