TAMPA, Fla. – Three Benito Middle School students, Philip, Braden and Amine, hand-delivered over 75 carefully chosen toys to pediatric patients at AdventHealth Tampa today, brightening the holiday season for children in both the pediatric unit and the pediatric emergency room. Their work was part of a service project through the National Junior Honor Society, hoping to spread joy and happiness during the holidays.

The students, who collected the toys from their school community, took the time to visit patients and personally distribute gifts, created happy moments for children and their families. During their visit, the students shared their passion for the project, explaining why this act of kindness was so meaningful to them and how it embodies the values of leadership and service emphasized by the National Junior Honor Society.
Hospital leaders said projects like these can make a huge difference to kids who are dealing with illness and recovering.
