UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is pleased to announce Saud Rana, MD, has joined UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Medical Group Hematology/Oncology at 396 Remington Blvd., Suite 305 in Bolingbrook.
Dr. Rana is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology with clinical interests including general medical oncology, targeted molecular therapy, myeloproliferative neoplasms, benign hematology, indolent leukemia/lymphoma, cancer screening and hereditary cancer syndromes. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center, and his fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Dr. Rana’s care philosophy is based on Arthur Kleinman’s Explanatory Model, in which understanding the patient’s perspective of their illness is central to creating a health care plan. He believes it is critical that patients and their health care provider share a common understanding and work together as a team. He speaks English and Urdu/Hindi.
