NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., November 17, 2016 Florida Hospital New Smyrna has announced a new board of directors. The new board consists of Florida Hospital East Florida Region CEO Rob Fulbright who will chair the board; senior vice president and chief clinical officer for Adventist Health System Judy Blair; Florida Hospital New Smyrna chief of staff and general surgeon Dr. Kimberly Clayton; Florida Hospital New Smyrna Foundation Board chair Pat Driver; Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center CEO Ed Noseworthy; local attorney Glenn Storch; and Florida Hospital New Smyrna CEO Ken Mattison. "When I think of the quality journey we are on, this board will help us as we seek to honor God in our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ," said Mattison. Delivering high-quality medical care is at the heart of our mission and we believe that it is sacred work. Each new Florida Hospital New Smyrna board member has the experience, leadership and passion to help us as we reshape health care in our community. More than half of the board members are also New Smyrna Beach residents, including Clayton, Driver, Mattison and Storch. It was important to us to ensure that our community's voice be heard, so we were very intentional to make sure our board has a strong representation of those who live and work in our community, Mattison said. Together, we will serve our community, staff, and physicians, enhancing the level of care patients ultimately receive at Florida Hospital New Smyrna.
