KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Some 300 job offers were made during AdventHealth’s two-day hiring event at hospitals across Central Florida earlier this week. An additional 48 more applicants are going through the second interview process. More than 700 people attended the event, which was held at 10 AdventHealth campuses.
“Central Florida is growing at a very rapid pace, and we are responding to the need for compassionate caregivers in our markets,” said Sheila Rankin CEO of AdventHealth Kissimmee, one of the campuses that hosted a hiring event. “It takes great people to continue to provide whole person care to the communities we serve. We feel fortunate to have hundreds of people want to join in our mission over just a few days.”
The hiring event was designed for anyone looking for a career in health care, including registered nurses, graduate nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists, medical lab technologists, surgical technologists, EMTs, paramedics, pharmacists, care managers, and more.
In addition to touring the facility, attendees were able to meet with hiring managers and learn more about AdventHealth's innovative programs.
AdventHealth plans to host another similar hiring event later in the summer. More information is available at AdventHealthExpos.com.
