ORMOND BEACH, Fla., August 4, 2016 Michael Daffin has been selected to serve as the director of physician relations for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, which encompasses the six Florida Hospitals located within Volusia and Flagler counties. In this new role, Daffin is responsible for strategic physician marketing efforts and relationship management.
He has more than 20 years of healthcare experience and has worked in various leadership roles. He most recently served as operations practice manager at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Centers branch of Florida Hospital Healthcare Partners, an employed group of primary care physicians and specialists. During his time with Florida Hospital Healthcare Partners, Daffin was responsible for managing specialty service lines, including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery and gastroenterology.
Born and raised in the Daytona Beach area, he is currently a Port Orange resident and earned bachelors degrees in public administration and criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Daffin received a masters degree in psychology from Argosy University in Sarasota, Fla.
