AdventHealth Waterman recently celebrated the start of construction for the AdventHealth Medical Plaza in Mount Dora with a groundbreaking ceremony.
The two-story, 22,260-square-foot, $13 million facility will be the first of its kind in northern Lake County.
“This is more than just bricks and mortar,” Abel Biri, AdventHealth Waterman CEO, said during the event. “This is setting the stage to provide care centered on the whole person – physically, mentally, and spiritually – in this community.”
When it opens in the fall of 2019, the AdventHealth Medical Plaza in Mount Dora will be home to primary care physicians and will provide walk-in appointments, extended office hours and care coordination resources.
Featuring an efficient design, the property accommodates the option to expand and add additional services, as the second floor will be shelled for future use.
The new facility is located between Country Club Blvd. and Wolf Branch Road at 19735 US Hwy 441 in Mount Dora.
