AdventHealth Sebring welcomes otolaryngologist Dr. Jose L. Ruiz to our Surgical Specialists practice. Dr. Ruiz is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist, board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Otorhinolaryngology is a surgical subspecialty within medicine that deals with conditions of the ear, nose, and throat and related structures of the head and neck.
Dr. Ruiz earned his Doctor of Medicine and did his surgical residency at the University of Puerto Rico’s School of Medicine. He has been serving Central Florida in the specialty of Otolaryngology for more than 28 years.
He sees patients for a wide variety of conditions of the head and neck including diagnosis of ear, nose and throat disorders, head and neck medicine and surgery, medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, surgical treatment of facial cancers, eyelid surgery, surgical treatment for snoring and sleep apnea, facial cosmetic surgery, allergy testing and immunotherapy, complete hearing evaluations for children and adults, and evaluation of dizziness and balance problems.
