Charlie Williams' legacy will extend further into our community with this partnership — a powerful alignment of mission and values that will directly enhance treatment of Parkinson's patients in Northwest Georgia.
The AdventHealth Redmond Foundation is excited to announce a transformative partnership that will significantly enhance care and support for individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease in Northwest Georgia. In a powerful alignment of mission and values, the AdventHealth Redmond Parkinson’s Fund will merge with the Charlie Williams Parkinson’s Foundation.
In recognition of Charlie Williams’ enduring legacy and the family’s unwavering commitment to the Parkinson’s community, the newly unified fund will be renamed the AdventHealth Redmond Foundation Charlie Williams Parkinson’s Fund.
“This is more than a name change — it’s a meaningful step forward in our shared mission to provide compassionate, whole-person care,” said Jake Hager, director of the AdventHealth Redmond Foundation. “Together, we will amplify our local impact, expand access to leading-edge care and support services, and ensure that Parkinson’s patients across our region are met with the excellence and compassion they deserve.”
The AdventHealth Redmond Foundation is dedicated to transforming health care in Northwest Georgia through philanthropic partnerships that directly enhance patient care, expand access to vital services, and invest in innovative healing programs. This merger reflects the Foundation’s belief that healing extends beyond medicine — it’s about hope, dignity and community.
The newly named fund will continue to support initiatives that improve quality of life for Parkinson’s patients, including specialized therapies, caregiver resources and community education.
The first event to benefit the AdventHealth Redmond Foundation Charlie Williams Parkinson’s Fund will be the Greg Fricks Memorial Golf Tournament on September 15, 2025, at Coosa Country Club. This event will honor Greg’s memory while supporting programs and services for those living with Parkinson’s disease.
