AdventHealth locations across the country have been named a 2020 Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey. The Guardian of Excellence Award in Patient Experience honors organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or higher, based on survey feedback from patients about their experience of care.
The AdventHealth locations that were awarded include:
AdventHealth Durand Emergency Department, Durand, WI
AdventHealth Gordon Outpatient Oncology, Calhoun, GA
AdventHealth Medical Group – New Smyrna, New Smyrna Beach, FL
AdventHealth South Overland Park Emergency Department, Overland Park, KS
These 2020 Guardian of Excellence awardees have maintained patient experience scores that rank within the top 5% in the nation for each of the four individual quarters between April 2019 and March 2020.
“Each team member who has contributed to the award-winning patient experience of these AdventHealth locations across the country are to be commended,” said Pam Guler, chief experience officer for AdventHealth. “Their dedication to our service standards and commitment to the wholistic health of their community have earned them this recognition. For each awardee, there is a story of overcoming challenges and exemplary teamwork.”
