PORT ORANGE, Fla., — AdventHealth has opened the doors of its Port Orange Health Park, offering a variety of medical specialties to serve the residents of east Volusia County, all in a single convenient location.
The two-story, 36,000-square-foot health park offers same-day appointments, expanded 7 am to 7 pm hours for certain services, and specially trained staff providing concierge-level service. Patient forms, registration and appointment scheduling can be done online from home, or at an on-site kiosk.
"We are reimagining the experience of health care by putting the consumer at the center,” said Jake McKelvy, vice president of outpatient retail services for AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division. “We are creating a lifetime partnership with our patients to provide health care services that are seamlessly connected and complement each other.
“When they walk through these doors, they're going to find Primary Care+, lab, imaging, rehab, and specialty services that are seamlessly connected to create a tailored experience,” McKelvy added. “We believe consumers are looking for ways to access their health care needs all in one place.”
Medical specialties in the health park include pediatrics; sports medicine and orthopedics; ear, nose and throat; gastroenterology; and general surgery.
The health park is located at 5821 S. Williamson Blvd., adjacent to the AdventHealth Port Orange ER. It’s only the third health park in the Central Florida Division. The others are in Kissimmee and Clermont, with one more slated to open in Lake Mary in spring 2023.
The architect for the project is Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, and the contractor is Austin Commercial.
