AdventHealth has named Jessica Baird-Wertman vice president of operations for physician enterprise. Baird-Wertman will report to Bryan Stiltz, senior vice president of physician enterprise for AdventHealth, and oversee all physician enterprise operations including performance improvement, patient access, capacity management and training programs.
"Jessica has proven to be an exceptional, forward-thinking leader throughout her career, and as we continue working to ensure that our physician enterprise meets the care needs of our consumers, her breadth of experience will be pivotal," said Stiltz.
Baird-Wertman previously served as executive director of physician enterprise for AdventHealth. Prior to that, she served as assistant vice president for Atrium Health Medical Group and held numerous roles in physician practice operations, medical staff services and managed care at a community health care provider in central Florida.
"As our organization continues to grow and adopt a more consumer-focused care model, access to services, improved processes and network integrity within the physician enterprise are increasingly important. I am thankful for the opportunity to help lead and support the efforts to provide an enhanced level of care for the people we serve," said Baird-Wertman.
Baird-Wertman earned a master's degree in health services administration from the University of St. Francis, and a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Central Florida.
She and her husband, Kevin, have been married for 23 years and have an adult daughter. In her free time, she enjoys distance running, kayaking and traveling.
