Dr. Kamran Hasni, who practices out of Manchester Memorial Hospital every Thursday, has been promoted to the post of Professor of Medicine (community based) at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Hasni graduated from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency in internal medicine at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he also completed his Fellowship in Nephrology. He has practiced in Southeastern Kentucky for the past 12 years.
Dr. Hasni has the honor of being the first fellow of the Society of Interventional Nephrology in Kentucky, and is the first physician in this area to be promoted as a Professor of Medicine (community based) at UK.
