Gordon Hospitals Robot Day be held on Friday, March 2, 2018. Robot Day will be held in the East Entrance of the hospital where people are invited to get a closer look at the da Vinci surgical system from 12 pm to 3 pm.

The da Vinci surgical system is the latest in robotic surgical technologies. Surgeons use the system by operating through small incisions with a 3D high-definition vision system and wristed instruments that act much more efficiently than hands. On Robot Day, those who attend will be able to test drive the da Vinci robot with the guidance of an Intuitive representative. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about robotic surgery and how it has changed the healthcare field.
