Central Florida's Only Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic

AdventHealth for Children is proud to be Central Florida’s only Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic designated by the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance Board of Directors.

Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, or TSC, is a genetic disorder that causes non-malignant tumors to form in many different organs, primarily in the brain, eyes, heart, kidney, skin and lungs. TSC can trigger seizures, developmental delays and intellectual disability.

As a nationally recognized TSC clinic, AdventHealth for Children provides comprehensive tuberous sclerosis treatment to kids diagnosed with this complex disease.

The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance (TS Alliance) recognizes clinics that aid in more effectively treating TSC patients while meeting required national standards of excellence. The TS Alliance recognizes only about 40 clinics in the United States, with AdventHealth for Children being home to one of the only recognized TSC clinics in Florida that treats both children and adults.
