- Laura Varich, MD, Medical Director of Pediatric Radiology

AdventHealth for Children’s pediatric imaging team is committed to providing safe, quality, friendly, individualized care in 15 convenient locations across Central Florida. We offer a full range of pediatric imaging services, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and nuclear imaging.
Our team of six, specialized pediatric radiologists is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Staying current with the latest technologies, we recently installed two new 3T MRI scanners as well as a dual-source CT scanner. These allow for some of the fastest, most accurate, lowest-dose imaging possible. Plus, we are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), ensuring that we meet the highest national standards in imaging safety.
Most imaging studies can be conducted at any of our centers with the same specialized team of pediatric radiologists interpreting the images. Results are available rapidly with median X-ray report time of 20 minutes after the images are completed.
