We are pleased to introduce telemedicine visits, as part of our ongoing efforts to provide our full range of wound care services while COVID-19 is circulating. This will allow us to provide care to patients remotely, and those patients may not need to come into the office. It is our hope that this will help ensure continuity of care and quality outcomes for our wound care patients.
What is Telemedicine?
Real-time, audio-video communication tools that connect physicians and patients face to face in different locations. Tools include interactive videoconferencing using mobile health applications (apps) on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.
Please note: During a telemedicine visit, the provider at the wound care center may decide a patient still needs to be seen in the office. In that case, those patients will receive additional information about what to do.
From Diagnosis to Home Recovery
Balancing real life with recovery isn’t always easy. That’s why we take a multidisciplinary approach to wound care. We'll connect you with the diagnostic specialists who can get to the root of your condition, the experts who can heal what hurts, and compassionate Home Care teams who can provide the care you need in the comfort of your living room.
