At AdventHealth Carrollwood, we’re forming a Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), a group of former or current patients, family members and hospital team members. We invite you to apply today for your opportunity to contribute to making meaningful improvements in patient care.
Shaping Health Care in Your Community
We come together to offer insights on hospital initiatives and share how we can improve the care we deliver to our community each day. Feedback from the council helps improve hospital operations and patient safety and satisfaction, along with employee engagement and well-being.
Volunteers are asked to:
- Interact well with people from diverse backgrounds
- Share personal care stories and constructive insight
- Speak comfortably and candidly
If you’re a current patient or family member, or have recently received care at AdventHealth Carrollwood, you’re eligible to apply. PFAC members are asked to maintain active membership for at least a year. Monthly meetings are one-hour sessions hosted on hospital property.
You’ll receive orientation and training on the mission and goals of AdventHealth Carrollwood and the advisory council, as well as hospital regulatory and privacy issues.
