- COVID-19 Testing Sites

AdventHealth Carrollwood performs medical screening exams for all patients who visit our Emergency Room. However, AdventHealth Carrollwood is not a designated COVID-19 testing site. If you come here for a COVID-19 test, your visit will be treated as an Emergency Room visit. For a complete list of COVID-19 testing sites in Hillsborough County, click here. - Visitor Hours and Restrictions

AdventHealth Carrollwood's COVID-19 Visitation Policies were created with the safety of our patients, our patients’ families and team members in mind. Beginning Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021, patient visits may occur as follows:
- COVID-19 Positive or PUI patients may have two (2) visitors per day.
- Those two visitors may visit the patient together or one at a time, but additional visitor swapping is not permitted.
- Admitted patients who are Non-PUI and Non-COVID-19 Positive may have up to three (3) visitors at a time, with no maximum number of visitors per day.
- Surgery and procedural patients will be permitted one (1) visitor at a time until they are admitted to an inpatient room. No Visitors are permitted in Phase 1 Recovery.
- Visitors under 12 will be allowed for Non-COVID-19 Positive patients, as one of the three (3) permitted visitors when accompanied by an adult.
- Visitation in the ED and the Carrollwood Holding Unit (CHU) will resume 24/7, with one (1) visitor at a time.
- Visiting hours for all inpatient units, procedures and surgeries will continue from 5:30am to 9pm
- Exceptions may be made for extenuating circumstances such as imminent end-of-life or unique patient support needs.
Visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital, unless they are seeking personal, medical care. All visitors will continue to be screened upon entrance to the facilities. Visitors must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include a face covering and visitors visiting COVID-19 positive or PUI patients must wear full PPE, to include AdventHealth provided N95 respirator.
