Caring for Patients

With more than 1,200 care sites across the United States, we have the privilege of serving more than 8.8 million patients annually. We aim to break down barriers to health care, increase patient access and affordability, and provide high-quality, whole-person care with clinical excellence.

Patient Meets Nurse Who Saved Him

Our recent efforts to expand the reach of our whole-person care include:

  • Initiatives to provide care for postpartum mothers, uninsured and underinsured neonatal patients and individuals who leave emergency rooms before receiving care
  • Care clinics, mobile health buses and community primary health clinics that accept patients in immediate need of care, regardless of their ability to pay
  • Primary health division expansion through Centra Care, Primary Care+, Well 65+ locations and more
  • Our consumer-focused AdventHealth mobile app with more than 3 million users, and a new artificial intelligence tool to provide prompt assistance to patients
Caring for Communities

Neither our team members nor our patients can feel whole if the communities where we live and work are in need. Acknowledging the wide variety of factors and behaviors that affect health outcomes outside of care-delivery settings, we are engaging in comprehensive responses to care for our local and global communities.

Supplier Diversity

AdventHealth also has a long-standing commitment to serving local needs by attracting, supporting and partnering with diverse business enterprises. Our supplier diversity program supports this commitment by identifying and working with qualified diverse suppliers to increase their participation in our procurement opportunities. In 2024, we awarded more than 50 contracts to diverse suppliers, including women, minority-owned and small business suppliers.
