Care Advocacy is the next level of integrated care from AdventHealth, helping eliminate any pain points that our consumers face when focusing on their health care. Using the AdventHealth app, your Care Advocate team works alongside you and your doctor to make sure you get your questions answered as quickly as possible.

  • Question: What is a Care Advocate?

    Answer:

    A Care Advocate is an AdventHealth team member who helps connect our consumers with services and providers.

  • Question: How does Care Advocacy work?

    Answer:

    You can chat with a Care Advocate through two-way messaging in the AdventHealth app and our AdventHealth.com website.

    Hope is the name of our digital assistant and is available 24/7. If you need more help, our Care Advocacy team is online and available Monday through Friday 7 am EST to 8 pm EST, and Saturday and Sunday 8 am EST to 5 pm EST.

    If you have an assigned or dedicated Care Advocate, they are available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm.

  • Question: What can a Care Advocate do?

    Answer:

    Care Advocates can help with finding a provider or location, referrals, status updates on your patient portal messages and information within the electronic medical record system, and connection to other AdventHealth services.

    If you have an assigned or dedicated Care Advocate, they can also help reschedule an appointment, check on a refill, request a referral, answer questions you may have about your care, and more!

  • Question: How do I access Care Advocacy?

    Answer:

    You can access Care Advocacy via the AdventHealth app or AdventHealth.com website.

    It is easy to connect with Care Advocacy by clicking on Hope, our digital assistant available on AdventHealth.com, and then selecting “Chat with a Care Advocate.”

    If you have an assigned or dedicated Care Advocate, log in to your AdventHealth account (via the app or website) to see the assigned Care Advocate listed with your Care Team.

  • Question: Can I call or email my Care Advocate?

    Answer:

    The Care Advocacy team is available through online chat within the AdventHealth app and AdventHealth.com. If you are seeking a phone number or are not sure who to call, Care Advocacy can help you locate the correct team and contact information.

  • Question: How is my information protected?

    Answer:

    Your safety and privacy are important to us. Your information and messages are secure and private.

  • Question: What languages are available to chat?

    Answer:

    English and Spanish are fully supported.
