The concluding event of the Week of Spiritual Renewal at AdventHealth was a systemwide teleconference where over 400 AdventHealth executive and ministry leaders, along with the Governing Board, came together to pray for our front-line workers, patients and community.
After opening remarks from President/CEO Terry Shaw, executive leaders from around the system shared what would become a collective prayer that revealed the thoughts that they are carrying in their hearts.
Our special guest was Rev. Dr. Barry Black, Chaplain of the United States Senate. Chaplain Black shared his own Good Friday reflections from Scripture and then offered a prayer for our AdventHealth team members.
