Appetizers and Sides

Tasteful and Nutritious

A tasteful way to start a meal or a conversation, this spicy and tart dip combines nutritious soybean with fat-free yogurt and flavors of the Southwest. Chipotle peppers are actually the old familiar jalapeño, slow dried in smoke for a heat that is more warming and flavorful than painfully hot—but make no mistake, there is a pleasant kick to this protein-and vitamin-rich dip, tempered by the yogurt and tofu, that great master of absorbing flavors. Try spreading this on a sandwich for an interest-getting alternative to mayonnaise.
