Two New Foundation Board Members

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., July 6, 2017 Florida Hospital New Smyrna has appointed two new community leaders to the Foundations board of directors: Cynthia Flanagan and Peggy Rivers. Both women are New Smyrna Beach residents and are actively involved in the community. Flanagan is the owner of Abundant Health Day Spa in New Smyrna Beach and is an active member of the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce, as well as the International Spa Association (ISPA). I love New Smyrna. I grew up here and I want to help make it a great place for everyone, Flanagan said. Health and wellness is so important in our little town, especially for those in need of health services. Rivers is a retired educator and is involved in the Beach Neighborhood Council, member of New Smyrna Beach Citizens for Smart Growth, and a committee member of Venetian Villas Homeowners Association. I am impressed with the mission of the Florida Hospital New Smyrna Foundation board and I would like to be an active participant in improving the health of the community, Rivers said.
