ORLANDO, Fla. — AdventHealth Millenia ER is celebrating its first anniversary of providing lifesaving, whole-person care to residents and visitors in West Orlando. AdventHealth Millenia ER is marking its positive impact on the community since the opening of the emergency department in July 2024. The ER expanded AdventHealth’s health care system’s network to better serve residents and visitors in Orange County. The approximately 19,000-square-foot facility has 24 private patient rooms (including two pediatric-friendly rooms to make ER visits less stressful for young patients); respiratory therapy; diagnostic imaging, including CT scans, X-ray and ultrasound; and a full-service laboratory.
In its first year, the Millenia ER team has provided care to more than 20,000 patients. The facility has:
- Conducted over 64,000 lab tests
- Completed more than 20,000 diagnostic imaging procedures
- Received over 3,100 ambulance arrivals
- Dispensed more than 1,200 medications via its on-site medication kiosk
