Dr. Martin Corsten, an accomplished head and neck surgeon, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group and will care for patients at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, expanding the hospital’s specialized surgical care.

AdventHealth Medical Group, which includes nearly 450 physicians and advanced practitioners across 75 locations in Flagler, Lake, Sumter, and Volusia counties, provides care for more than one million patient visits each year. In 2024 alone, AdventHealth Medical Group brought nearly 80 new physicians and advanced practitioners to Volusia County.
Corsten brings extensive experience in complex head and neck surgeries, including facial reconstruction, cancer treatment, and delicate procedures involving the voice, throat, and salivary glands. He also specializes in advanced techniques including robotic surgeries to treat a range of conditions.
“Dr. Corsten’s arrival is an important step in expanding our community’s access to highly specialized care,” said Dr. David Sinclair, president and CEO of AdventHealth Daytona Beach.
“His experience in head and neck surgery will make a real difference for so many people in our community as they will be able to receive complex, specialized surgical care closer to home.”
Corsten earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario. He completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Ottawa and his internship at Ottawa Civic Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in head and neck oncologic and skull base surgery at the University of California, Davis.
“Head and neck conditions can impact everything from speaking and swallowing to appearance and overall health,” Corsten said. “The right surgical care can make a life-changing difference, and I’m honored to bring my expertise to this community.”
Corsten cares for patients in the medical office building at AdventHealth Daytona Beach, located at 305 Memorial Medical Pkwy., Suite 206, Daytona Beach. To contact his office, call Call386-281-3870.
